The Rajya Sabha Parliamentary Committee on Government Assurances met with senior officials on Friday to discuss the inquiry and get ready for the June 21 re-examination amid the ongoing issue surrounding the NEET-UG paper leak. The panel was briefed by CBI Director Praveen Sood on the investigation's status, the arrests that have been made, and the efforts being taken to capture the remaining suspects.
The conference was also attended by representatives from the National Medical Commission, NTA Director General Abhishek Singh, and Higher Education Secretary Vineet Joshi. During the re-exam, officials briefed the committee on the measures being taken to guarantee openness and avoid malpractice.The panel instructed authorities to maintain the counselling schedule and medical admissions seat matrix. Undergraduate and super-specialty medical seats are distributed nationwide by the seat matrix, which also classifies them based on student classifications and quotas.
