Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo T5x 5G, in India on March 17, 2026. The tablet stands out for its big 7,200mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims is the largest in its category, as well as a MediaTek processor geared for performance.
The handset, which succeeds last year's Vivo T4x 5G, is aimed at heavy users such as gamers and regular streamers, and features an increased battery life and improved durability.

The Vivo T5x 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo CPU and can support up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo claims that the handset has surpassed the one-million mark in the AnTuTu Benchmark performance test.According to the business, the device improves overall performance by about 10% and increases AI capabilities by 15%. It runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16.
The Vivo T5x 5G's main feature is its 7,200mAh battery, which Vivo claims is the largest in its category. The device supports 44W wired fast charging and is intended to provide extended use on a single charge.
According to the business, customers can expect up to 40 hours of movie playback, around 93 hours of music streaming, more than 15 hours of gaming on titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India, over 18 hours of social media engagement, and up to 14 hours of GPS navigation.The Vivo T5x 5G offers an Ultra Game Mode designed to provide smoother and more immersive games. The functionality is accompanied with 4D vibration effects, improved haptic feedback, and a Game Voice Changer, which allows users to change their voice while gaming.
Vivo's design includes a flat rear panel with a square-shaped camera island with rounded corners. The module features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, an LED flash, and a ring light. The selfie camera is located in the center of the front display, with a pill-shaped cutout.Durability is another advantage of the Vivo T5x 5G. It has an IP69+ rating for dust and water protection. The device has been certified by SGS for drop resistance and meets military-grade toughness criteria. Vivo will sell the phone in Cyber Green and Star Silver, with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space.
The handset's display includes a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,250 nits.
