With a touching gesture, Lionel Messis Argentina teammates commemorate his birthday

On Wednesday, Lionel Messi celebrated his 39th birthday amid a World Cup that has, for the time being at least, only brought him happiness: Argentina, the defending champion, has already advanced to the knockout stage, and its captain has emerged as the tournament's top scorer. At Argentina's training facility in Kansas City, Missouri, Messi celebrated the event with his teammates. It's his sixth World Cup, and he's celebrated five birthdays while competing. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which took place in November and December, was an exception.Argentina's three goals in its first victory over Algeria and two more in its victory over Austria were all scored by Messi. He has two more World Cup goals than Kylian Mbappe and Miroslav Klose, with eighteen.
Messi posted a picture of himself with cake and a few of his teammates on social media. The cake came from Pan Caliente, a bakery in Kansas City run by a pastry chef from Argentina.
In a different photo, Argentina teammates posed with Messi while sporting T-shirts with their own photos of the captain on them.To the guy who transformed our lives, provided us treasured memories, and inspired us to pursue our ambitions... Living it with you was even more enjoyable than simply witnessing it! Greetings on your birthday, Captain.Messi received birthday wishes from FIFA, his club Inter Miami, and his previous team Barcelona.About 5,000 children from nearby schools sung "Happy Birthday" in his hometown of Rosario; some even brought cakes.
