A dad from Rajasthan took his unconscious son back to the Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri, thinking that the boy's condition would improve after the holy visit.
The infant, who had been unresponsive for several months, lately began to move his hands and legs, according to the family.
After asking Lord Jagannath for blessings on November 8, Prakash Bhoi brought his comatose son Nikhil to the temple and placed him on the ground close to Baishi Pahacha.
Shortly after the visit, the child reportedly displayed a mild bodily reaction, according to the family. After that, Bhoi returned to Puri and, in a sign of surrender, placed the boy in the same spot close to the temple.
Dad Shares His Hope
Regarding his son's illness, Prakash Bhoi stated, "My son went into a coma after developing a fever a year ago." He moved his leg, which I saw as a miracle when I took him to the Puri Jagannath Temple. I've returned because I really believe that Lord Jagannath would fully heal him.
He went on to say that if the government paid for his child's medical care, he would be open to moving him to a hospital.
According to him, the recent progress has reinforced his faith, and he plans to keep asking for blessings until his son gets better.
Sevayat Recounts the Event
An old sevayat remembered the poignant occasion after seeing the father's previous visit. "I have no words to express it. This dad was sobbing and begging for his son's safety when he arrived with his child that day. His child has improved after we taught him that Lord Jagannath responds to all sincere and devoted prayers. The sevayat expressed his hope that he would fully recover.
"The father has complete faith in Lord Jagannath, but the child should be treated at a hospital," remarked a devotee outside the temple. The family would genuinely benefit if the government approved the procedure.
