Arrest In Sub-Zero Temperatures: Delhi Cops Massive Feat Near China Border

In a daring operation in the freezing cold, Delhi Police officers apprehended a cyber criminal in Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang, near the Line of Actual Control with China. The culprit, named Babidul Khan alias Bobby, was wanted for scamming at least 15 people of crores of rupees.
The procedure began on December 31, when Tawang was frozen in sub-zero temperatures. Despite the challenging terrain and bad weather circumstances, Delhi Police officers apprehended the offenders.
Amit Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Police for Delhi South-West, stated that the tough operation was conducted out at a height of 10,000 feet in Arunachal Pradesh."One of our teams scaled Arunachal Pradesh's impassable mountains at a height of roughly 10,000 feet in frigid temperatures. "The team braved these conditions to search for a cyber thug," he explained.
The official stated that Tawang's police station is only 16 kilometres from the Line of Actual Control. The 24-year-old accused, identified as Babidul Khan alias Bobby, is wanted for masterminding an intricate financial scheme. He had allegedly stolen crores of rupees from 15 people. The investigation discovered that the defendants used'mule accounts' to shift criminal proceeds. "These mule accounts were used to mislead the police," he said.

The Delhi Police has been conducting Operation CyHawk to disrupt cyber fraud rings. 955 offenders were arrested or bound down during Operation CyHawk 3.0, which took place in Delhi and ten other states from February 5 to 6, 2026.
On April 6 and 7, the Delhi Police detained 600 people and collected up over 8000 suspects in Operation CyHawk 4.0.During coordinated operations conducted concurrently throughout numerous districts, a total of 8,371 persons were apprehended and questioned. According to news agency PTI, 1,429 offenders were detained or bound down after investigators discovered substantial financial and technological links to cyber fraud activities.
