Before summer peaks, Odisha experiences an early temperature spike, with Jharsuguda experiencing the highest temperature of 37 degrees Celsius.

Even before the height of summer arrived, temperatures were already climbing throughout Odisha, with numerous regions already reaching above-normal values.
According to the Meteorological Department, the current dry conditions are probably going to persist, which could result in even more heat in the days ahead.
Continued Dry Weather
There isn't an active weather system over the state right now, according to Bhubaneswar's Regional Meteorological Department. Consequently, dry weather is predicted to predominate in the near future. If there are no major atmospheric disturbances, the heat intensity might rise much further.

According to meteorological statistics, the highest temperature recorded in Jharsuguda on Friday was 37 degrees Celsius, three degrees higher than usual. Currently, temperatures in six locations throughout the state have surpassed 35 degrees Celsius.
Likely to Rise Further Next Week
The Department predicted that the temperature would rise by an additional 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next week. According to reports, if the present dry period continues, temperatures are predicted to rise even more in the days ahead.
The early temperature increase worried the locals, especially because it was observed in the spring and even before summer arrived. According to sources, there are concerns that the summer may prove to be just as harsh as this year's winter.

As the state progressively moves into the high summer season, authorities are keeping a careful eye on the issue.
