The top leadership of the party will meet with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, DK Shivakumar, and AICC Karnataka in-charge Randeep Surjewala, according to party sources.

The DK Shivakumar-led ministry is unlikely to include a number of ministers from the Siddaramaiah ministry, according to other sources. According to party insiders, the government may nominate four Deputy Chief Ministers in order to preserve socioeconomic and geographical balance.
According to sources, Yathindra, a member of the Legislative Council and the son of Siddaramaiah, is anticipated to be appointed to the DK Shivakumar Cabinet and will probably be given a significant ministry to carry on Siddaramaiah's legacy.
The date of DK Shivakumar's oath ceremony as Karnataka's chief minister will be decided when the Congress Legislative Party meeting, which appears to be a formality, is concluded today, according to sources.According to sources, Kharge will be repeated in the Rajya Sabha, and AICC chief Randeep Surjewala will submit the panel for two of the three seats.
