In Asha Bhosles biopic, who can play her? The Legendary Singer Selected Two Actors

With a career spanning over eight decades, renowned playback vocalist Asha Bhosle continues to be one of the most prominent performers in Indian music. She continued to record thousands of songs in various Indian languages. A potential biopic based on her life has often been discussed over the years due to her lengthy career, personal hardships, and enduring influence on Hindi cinema. When asked in a previous interview which actress she believed might play her on screen, Asha Bhosle mentioned Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.

Asha Bhosle, 92 Asha Bhosle passed away at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on April 12. Dr Prateet Samdani revealed on Sunday that the veteran vocalist passed away from multi-organ failure after battling a number of health problems. "I regret to inform you that Asha Bhosle passed away today," he stated. She died from multi-organ failure while dealing with numerous medical issues.

Asha Bhosle received two National Film Awards: India's Padma Vibhushan in 2008 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000. Dum Maro Dum (1971), Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja (1971), Chura Liya Hai Tumne (1973), Yeh Mera Dil (1978), and Dil Cheez Kya Hai (1981) are some of her well-known singles.
