A teenage student at a private school in Madhya Pradesh reportedly committed suicide, leaving a note accusing a male instructor of tormenting her, only days after a 16-year-old boy from Delhi allegedly committed suicide due to harassment at school.
According to the PTI news agency, which cited police, the 17-year-old girl from Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district committed suicide by hanging herself at her Semaria house on November 16. According to Additional Superintendent of Police Aarti Singh, police discovered a handwritten note in which the woman claimed that the male teacher struck her while holding her hand and dared her to open his clinched fist.
According to authorities, who cited the girl's suicide note, the teacher pushed a pen between her fingers under the guise of punishment.She was completely normal at home, according to her relatives. They said that she was "tortured" by someone at the school, who demanded that her phone data and school-related matters be looked into.
A teenager in Delhi leaped from an elevated metro station platform in west Delhi earlier on Tuesday. The youngster claimed in the suicide note that his teachers had mistreated him, and his father claimed he was "troubled over petty issues."
He claimed that the boy kept telling the teachers that "he was trying" in response to their constant pressure to improve his grades.
"My son's teachers have been reprimanding and upsetting him over little matters for the past year. We expressed our worries to his teachers when he told us about it, but nothing came of it.The boy's father told HT earlier that those teachers were bothering even his buddies. "This is to inform you that the school has been made aware of a FIR registered against you, bearing No. 336A Tis Hazari Court, dated 19th November 2025," said a copy of the letter sent to the teachers. The relevant authorities are presently looking into the incident. Copies of the four letters have been examined by Hindustan Times.
"The responsible authority has decided to suspend you immediately due to the nature of the allegations. You will continue to be suspended until the investigation is finished and you receive additional directives from the appropriate authorities," it continued.
