In the IPL 2026 Purple Cap race, Bhuvneshwar continues to lead Rabada

Purple Cap Leaderboard
With 24 wickets apiece at the beginning of the game and 26 at the conclusion, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kagiso Rabada were well ahead of the chasing group.
Rabada went first, taking out Venkatesh Iyer in the second over and Krunal Pandya in the seventeenth. He was among the most costly of the GT bowlers, giving up 54 runs in his four overs at an economy rate of 13.50, so it wasn't a good night for him.
All in all, Bhuvneshwar enjoyed it more. He finished with 2 for 28 from his four overs after dismissing Shubman Gill in the fourth over. In the nineteenth over, he returned to dismiss Rahul Tewatia.

While Rasikh Salam, the RCB change quick, had another successful day, returning 2 for 24, raising his total to 16 and tenth place, Jason Holder, the other player in action, sent back Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal in the same over to return 2 for 39 and reach 15 wickets for the season in just nine games (putting him in 12th place).
Orange Cap Leaderboard
The GT openers, B Sai Sudharsan and Gill, who scored 14 and 2, respectively, didn't have a memorable day, but they have performed so well throughout the season that they are still atop the standings. Gill is ranked second with 618 runs, while Sai Sudharsan is ranked first with 652.

With a 25-ball 43, Kohli contributed to RCB's massive 254 for 5, which raised his aggregate to 600 and moved him over KL Rahul of Delhi Capitals (DC) to No. 4 on the standings, with Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) between him and the top two.
With an 11-ball 29, Jos Buttler approached the 500-run threshold, reaching 498 runs and 12th position, while Rajat Patidar, the night's standout with a 33-ball 93 not out, reached 14th place with 486 runs.
