KKR Pacer sent a strong message after receiving a two-year ban for choosing the IPL over the PSL.

Blessing Muzarabani, a fast bowler for the Zimbabwean cricket team, was banned for two years by the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for choosing to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) even though he had a contract with a PSL franchise. The bowler was hired as a replacement player by Islamabad United after failing to sell at both the IPL and PSL auctions. But in order to replace Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman, Muzarabani chose to renounce his contract and go with the Kolkata Knight Riders. Mustafizur's contract was earlier terminated by KKR due to the current political difficulties between Bangladesh and India.
Muzarabani has now made two appearances for KKR, and in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he recorded an outstanding 4/41."Participants in franchise-based leagues must behave honestly and consistently in order to be considered professional. A departure from the expected norms of the game occurs when a contradictory engagement is entered into while a previous binding agreement is in effect. According to a PSL statement, "such behaviour undermines the credibility of transactions and the trust that franchises, regulators, and stakeholders place in professional engagements if left unchecked."The seriousness of the violation is reflected in the two-year ban," it continued.Corbin Bosch, an all-rounder for South Africa, received a one-year ban for the same offence last season. Dasun Shanaka and Spencer Johnson made similar choices this year, and the PSL is anticipated to punish them similarly.According to ESPNCricinfo, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni had a brief spell in the nets prior to his team's match against three-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Chepauk Stadium, but he is still unlikely to play.
Due to a calf ailment, Dhoni has missed his team's first four IPL games this season. He is also doubtful to play in the fifth match against KKR. The 44-year-old continues to strive for complete fitness. Dhoni's injury will keep him out of action for the first two weeks of the season and require rehabilitation, according to a statement released by CSK on March 28. Dhoni has yet to prove that he is fit for a match, even though the two-week period has barely passed.

According to ESPNCricinfo, Dhoni hasn't batted at his best during the nets and has only encountered throwdowns, especially from batting instructor and former CSK teammate Michael Hussey. Additionally, Dhoni did not practise wicketkeeping during the training season.
The renowned batter has not been to Chepauk on match days at home or to Guwahati and Bengaluru for their away games with his club.
