Actor-politician Vijay made his first social media post just days after his wife Sankgeetha Sornalingam filed for divorce at the Chengalpattu district court.

Vijay wished students in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry who are taking their public exams for Class 12 on Monday via X (previously Twitter).
In Tamil, he wrote, "Heartfelt greetings to my dear younger brothers and sisters who are writing the 12th standard public exam in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry."
"You all, who are going to build a prosperous society tomorrow, face this exam with courage, without fear, and without anxiety," he continued.Advance hopes to succeed in college as well! There will only be positive outcomes! There is no doubt about victory.
The official timetable states that the TN HSE +2 exams will take place from March 2 to March 26.

Vijay's post coincides with the focus being on his personal life's developments.
Sankgeetha Sornalingam has submitted a petition to end their marriage. According to PTI, she said in her plea that she learned about Vijay's adulterous affair with a female co-star in April 2021.
According to her, it resulted in "deep emotional pain and mental suffering, amounting to betrayal and violation of marital trust."Sankgeetha has requested an order of dissolution and permanent alimony commensurate with Vijay's salary and social status, describing the marriage as "irretrievably broken."
Additionally, she has asked for the option to stay in the marital residence in Neelankarai until the case is resolved or to be given a comparable place to live.
