What Suryakumar Yadavs side needs to do to improve their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup against Zimbabwe

The India vs Zimbabwe match on 26 February is critical for the Men in Blue’s qualification scenario. India needs to defeat Sikandar Raza's side by a significant margin in order to advance to the semifinals. This is how things will transpire.
If India bats first
India should concentrate on increasing their Net Run Rate (NRR) when they bat first against Zimbabwe. Suryakumar Yadav is aware that the team needs to bounce back from their crushing -3.800 deficit following their 76-run defeat to South Africa.
India should record a huge total if they bat first. To achieve a large winning margin, they must aim for a score far above 200+ (preferably 220–240). India must get off to a fast start in order to take advantage of Chennai's spin-friendly but frequently high-scoring conditions.

Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma, India's openers, must start out strong. Sharma, however, has been having a difficult World Cup; he failed to score in the group stage and only managed 15 runs against South Africa.
It will be interesting to watch whether India starts Sanju Samson instead of Abhishek. This ICC competition was Sanju's only opportunity. He scored 22 off 8 balls against Namibia.
Winning alone is insufficient. India must pursue the goal as fast as they can, preferably in 12–13 overs. Compared to a late finish, an early game completion greatly increases NRR. Even if the victory margin in runs is irrelevant, that is still the case.

The game will begin at 3 PM, and India's match against Zimbabwe will begin at 7 PM. Therefore, before the game begins, Gautam Gambhir and his management will be fully informed of the circumstances.
