The Delhi Police withdrew activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been on a hunger fast at Delhi's Jantar Mantar for 20 days in protest of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's suspected NEET paper leak, from the location today due to health concerns.
Early in the morning, Wangchuk was seated among the demonstrators at Jantar Mantar when the Delhi police showed up in civilian attire, primarily white or blue shirts. Additionally, several of them were spotted wearing black, orange, or yellow T-shirts. Before anyone could guess what was going on, the police put up white sheets, set up a lot of protection, and whisked him away.The 59-year-old Wangchuk was transported to the hospital "peacefully," according to officials, despite a minor obstruction caused by the Cockroach Janata Party activists who have been leading the protest.
According to officials, Wangchuk was removed with the utmost caution.
After being transported to Safdarjung Hospital, the climate activist was admitted to the emergency room. Wangchuk is conscious and his vital signs are steady, according to sources who spoke to news agency ANI.
What Delhi Police stated Wangchuk was removed from the protest site in compliance with the High Court's orders and on professional medical advice because of his declining health, according to a statement from the Delhi police.

Sonam Wangchuk has been transferred to the hospital in order to receive necessary medical attention. The activist had warned his supporters that "I will return as a ghost if you don't come and July 20 is not successful."
