Matric exams start on February 19; Odisha CHSE Plus 2 exams start under AI observation.

In the midst of unprecedented security measures, such as AI-enabled CCTV surveillance at question paper centers, the Council of Higher Secondary Education's (CHSE) annual Plus 2 test is scheduled to begin across Odisha on Wednesday.
Sources claim that for the first time, the CHSE has direct authority over the hubs, which are being watched over by CCTV and AI cameras.
According to officials, live streaming takes place from the time question papers are gathered from the hubs until they are unlocked at testing locations. A transparent, equitable, and malpractice-free examination procedure is what the effort seeks to guarantee. Five levels of 102 flying squads have been deployed to improve oversight.

It is recommended that candidates arrive at their designated centers by 9:30 am. There are 4,01,623 pupils taking the Plus Two exams this year, and they will run through March 28.
In the meantime, on Thursday, the High School Certificate (Matric) exams will start. With complex preparations in place to guarantee a seamless exam administration, up to 5,61,979 students are scheduled to appear at 3,082 testing locations throughout the state.
"Students are expected to be at the testing location by 9.30 am and take their seats by 9.45 am following the required inspection and validation. Exams will be streamed live at 1,364 locations, and question paper hubs will be monitored by AI technology, according to Controller of Examinations Prashant Kumar Parida.

"All nodal centers are under surveillance," stated Amulya Kumar Pradhan, vice-president of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE). The strong rooms used to hold the question papers will be watched throughout the exam time. If any irregularity is found, it will be addressed right away.
"Everything required to ensure the examination runs smoothly has been put in place. "There won't be any anomalies," stated Minister of School and Mass Education Nityananda Gond.
