By October 10, a cyclonic circulation will develop over the Bay of Bengal; observe how it affects Odisha.

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has predicted that by tomorrow, a new cyclonic circulation will likely form over the north Bay of Bengal. The agency stated that a considerable intensification of the system is not anticipated.

According to the Met office, in the days ahead, the monsoon may begin to retreat from western Odisha due to favourable conditions created by small shifts in wind direction.

In the meantime, the Met office has predicted rain and lightning activity and issued a yellow alert for 24 districts, including Malkangiri, Koraput, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, and Kendrapara.

A statewide yellow warning has been issued for October 10, alerting citizens in all districts to stay vigilant for potential lightning and thunderstorm activity.
