Well, during the initial days of her career, before her breakthrough movie 'Tezaab', Madhuri was left shaken and injured while filming an intimate scene.

Vinod Khanna and Madhuri Dixit's Dayavan (1988) became the talk of the town with its release. Helmed by Firoz Khan, Dayavan was a remake of the 1987 Tamil film Nayakan. The movie also starred Aditya Pancholi and Firoz Khan in key roles. Made on a budget of Rs 2.25 crore, the movie earned over Rs 7 crore at the box office.

Well, the main highlight of the movie was the song 'Aaj Phir Tumpe Pyaar Aya Hai', featuring Vinod and Madhuri. While shooting an intimate scene for the song, the superstar was supposed to kiss the 20-year-old actress.

According to media reports, Vinod Khanna 'lost control' while shooting the intimate scene and continued kissing even after the director yelled 'cut'. Reports also suggest that Vinod Khanna bit Madhuri Dixit's lip so badly that she was left bleeding and shocked.

If media reports are anything to go by, he continued kissing her for five minutes and bit her lip. After filming the scene, Madhuri was shaken and couldn't stop crying.

However, later Firoz Khan and Vinod Khanna cajoled her and apologized for the same. 

Later, Khan was sent a legal notice to remove the scene after it stirred controversy during its release. Even the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 actress requested the director to remove the scene. However, Khan reportedly paid Rs 1 crore to retain the scene in the film. Eventually, the film became a blockbuster and remains one of the last hits of Khanna's career. After that, Madhuri never worked with the superstar.

During an old interview with Jansatta, Madhuri revealed that she was unaware of a particular intimate scene in the film. She also mentioned that even today she feels shocked when she watches that moment on-screen.
