Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandannas film Thamma surpasses Strees lifetime earnings at the global box office, surpassing ₹200 crore.

Thamma's global box office receipts: In less than three weeks, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's film has surpassed ₹200 crore globally. The horror comedy, which is a part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, has surpassed Salman Khan's Sikandar to become the eighth highest-grossing Indian film of the year.
Global box office update for Thamma
Thamma has made ₹153.18 crore net (₹183.50 crore gross) at the box office in just 20 days, according to data released by the film's production company, Maddock Films. Even though the movie's daily earnings in the domestic market have dropped to ₹1.50–2 crore, it is still showing in theatres.

Thamma has made over $2.5 million even though it hasn't had the same level of success abroad as it has at home. According to Maddock's statistics, this brings its total global gross to about ₹206 crore. However, trade trackers claim that the current amount is approximately ₹185 crore.
In any case, Thamma has surpassed Salman Khan's Sikandar's lifetime earnings of ₹177 crore earlier this year. Additionally, it has surpassed Stree's lifetime global total of ₹184 crore, making it the MHCU's second highest-grossing movie. It currently only trails Stree 2, which made ₹874 crore the previous year—a sum that Thamma cannot match.

Everything about Thamma
Aditya Sarpotdar is the director of the vampire movie Thamma, which combines horror comedy with regional Indian culture. In addition to Ayushmann, Rashmika, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, Varun Dhawan makes a brief appearance in the movie, returning to his character from Bhediya and Stree 2.
Additionally, the movie sets up Shakti Shalini, the upcoming Maddock Horror Comedy Universe movie starring Saiyaara star Aneet Padda. Seven more films are planned for the Maddock franchise, including a two-part mega-crossover that will be released in 2029 and sequels to other stand-alone features.
