Bhubaneswar affordable housing: the Odisha government will shortly distribute apartments after high-rise development is finished.

In Subudhipur, Bhubaneswar, the Odisha Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department has finished building a sizable residential complex for middle-class and upper-class households. Allotment is anticipated to start early next year.
The project is being referred to as Odisha's first large-scale high-rise housing endeavor. It was constructed and marketed directly by the state government.
Government-Constructed Housing Project for Purchasers
Sources claim that the project will remove the typical legal and approval-related issues that buyers in private home enterprises encounter. Customers are not likely to encounter problems with the Use Certificate (UC) or Completion Certificate (CC) because the government is the constructor.

According to H&UD Minister Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, the goal is to ensure modern infrastructure while keeping prices as low as feasible.
"We want to offer these apartments as cheaply as we can. The project's total cost is being estimated using calculations. There will be more than 700 apartments available. After the project was evaluated at the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) meeting, he stated, "Discussions are ongoing and a price will be decided soon."
2BHK and 3BHK Units With High-End Facilities
The government-funded project, known as Ekamra Residency, is located on 7.36 acres and has more than 700 apartments spread across three towers, including 2BHK and 3BHK units.Soubhagya Deo, a native of Bhubaneswar, stated that purchasers require an open policy. "Who can buy these apartments needs to be made clear by the administration. Can Bhubaneswar residents who already own a home purchase these? Additionally, a distinct salary group ought to be established. Individuals like myself who have a budget of up to Rs 70 lakhs will undoubtedly try to purchase. Higher income groups would be involved after it surpassed that threshold, he stated.
A pricing structure is anticipated soon.
According to departmental sources, the government plans to offer apartments for between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, in addition to a separate experimental housing project for lower-middle-class people, of which 90 compact units have already been finished.
