Starring opposite Bobby Deol in Rahul Rawail's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her Hindi cinema debut. In a recent conversation, Bobby recounted how he and Aishwarya were able to make the movie on a shoestring budget while filming it in Switzerland.
Bobby said Radio Nasha, "Aishwarya is one of the most beautiful actors in our country, but it was her first film, so she was a little bit nervous but she is a very talented dancer," in reference to the actress's nervousness on the set.
We were in Switzerland for 40 days aur main pak gaya tha Switzerland se (I got bored of Switzerland)," Bobby added, revealing details about the film's low-end production. At 7 a.m., the entire unit would board a bus, and we would shoot wherever Rahul (Rawail) got off. We didn't have any chairs at the time, but fortunately there was grass all over, so we would be sitting on the ground.
We also shot in a hot air balloon, but the landing got messed up and Aishwarya hurt her head,” Bobby recalled, recalling how Aishwarya was injured during filming a scene. Somehow, I was saved. Fortunately, she was unharmed. I have never discussed this incident.
