Royal Enfield's ranking as the third-strongest automotive brand in the world in the Brand Finance Automotive Industry 2026 report is a huge boost to India's auto industry. The Indian motorbike manufacturer has surpassed international brands like Audi and Ferrari. The only cars on the list above it are Toyota and BMW. According to the survey, Royal Enfield has a AAA grade and an 88.9 out of 100 Brand Strength Index score. Additionally, its brand value has grown by 30% to $1.2 billion. Tata Motors is ranked sixth among international automakers in the survey. Mahindra is ranked 25th, whereas Maruti Suzuki is ranked 34th.
Toyota and BMW remain at the top of the list. Toyota is ranked first, followed by BMW. Third place goes to Royal Enfield. Ferrari is ranked seventh, and Audi is ranked fourth. The study illustrates how global reach and brand power are influencing competition in the automotive sector.
Due to its increasing presence outside of India, Royal Enfield's ranking has increased. The company has more than 3,200 retail locations worldwide and operates in more than 80 countries. Additionally, it operates seven CKD assembly facilities in foreign markets.Demand for the brand is still present in Australia, South America, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Its primary characteristic is still its emphasis on simple, vintage-style motorcycles.
