Days before an Air India flight crossed the international border during a go-around over Amritsar, at least three commercial aircraft traveling to or from Lahore entered Indian airspace.
Fly Jinnah's flights from Lahore to Dubai and Jeddah, as well as an Air Sial aircraft from Dammam to Lahore, stayed in Indian airspace for a few minutes on June 12, according to flight-tracking data. For more than fifteen minutes, one of them stayed in Indian skies.
According to Pakistani media, poor weather and a windstorm that struck Pakistan's Punjab state that day caused the Pakistani aircraft to enter Indian airspace. Air traffic control (ATC) units in Lahore and Amritsar maintained communication during the diversions, according to The News, which cited aviation sources.

An Air India aircraft lands in Pakistan
As part of a go-around maneuver over Amritsar airport Air India flight AI479 momentarily crossed Pakistani territory, according to the airline. At approximately 4:38 UTC (9:38 pm Indian Standard Time), the aircraft entered Pakistani territory and departed a minute later.In order to determine the cause, Air India has also started an investigation.
According to Flightradar24, AI479 entered Pakistan at 9:38 p.m. close to the Wagah border and stayed there for almost a minute before leaving. Additionally, while attempting to land, the flight made loops around Amritsar, according to the data. The flight was unsuccessful and went back to the airport in Delhi.At the height of hostilities following the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, last year, India and Pakistan blocked their airspace to each other's flights.
