The tragic death of well-known playback vocalist Humane Sagar has left a huge vacuum in Odisha's cultural landscape, and fans of Odia music are in mourning. The musician, who had been receiving rigorous treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, passed away on Monday at 9:08 p.m.
Humane Sagar's condition rapidly worsened as doctors determined that he had major liver issues. Despite constant observation by a specialized medical team devoted to his case, some organs had ceased to function. After all attempts to stabilize him failed, he was pronounced dead late at night.
His lifeless remains were transferred to his Cuttack home at midnight after the medical and legal procedures at AIIMS were finished.
