In Israel, two Indians were thrashed in a "racial assault" that was planned via WhatsApp.

In Israel on Tuesday, two Indian guys were attacked on the basis of their race. The two guys were beaten by a group of assailants in a public park, according to a video made public by Israeli TV KAN.
Two Indian guys can be seen strolling along a sidewalk in CCTV footage, being trailed by three or four people with hooded jackets. The action then moves to a public park nearby, where one of the men is being viciously punched by another while being restrained by others of the hooded attackers.
The incident happened in Ashkelon, an Israeli city near Gaza and 50 kilometers from Tel Aviv. The attack is described as "premeditated" and driven by "racism and malice" in the Hebrew captions of the film.

Before they carried out the attack, it had previously been plotted on WhatsApp.
India launched the attack after more than 100 other UN members denounced Israel's West Bank expansion.
Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera requested External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to investigate the situation immediately and confirm the victims' health in a post on X.
"We vehemently condemn unilateral Israeli decisions and actions intended to increase Israel's illegal presence in the West Bank," the statement said. Such decisions ought to be quickly overturned since they violate Israel's duties under international law. In this context, we emphasize how strongly we oppose annexation in any form.
