Internal assessment and project work are now required for all Plus 2 Regular students in all disciplines, according to the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha.
Official information states that the current academic year's Internal Assessment exams will take place between December 22 and December 31.
Structure of Assessment for Students in the Arts and Sciences
Three subjects—Mother Tongue, English, and Mathematics—will be included in the assessment for students studying Arts and Science. Twenty points will be awarded for each topic, which will be added to the student's total academic record.
Pattern of Evaluation for the Commerce Stream
In a similar vein, Commerce students will receive 20 points for each of the following subjects: Mother Tongue, English, Mathematics, and Project Work.
The authorities have made it clear that no student will be excused from submitting a project or taking an internal assessment. These elements were included to assess students' project-based application, academic comprehension, and ongoing learning.
A Second Opportunity for Absentees
A second chance will be given to students who are unable to attend the assessment for legitimate reasons. The exam must be taken by these students between January 10 and January 15 of the following year. They must, however, provide a valid explanation for their absence from the main program.
In order to ensure a seamless and transparent examination process, colleges have been directed to finish all essential preparations and notify students of the requirements as the assessment window draws near.
