Broadcaster withdrawal negotiations are over, according to a joint statement from ICC and JioStar:

In a joint statement on Friday night, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and JioStar denied any rumours that the latter was attempting to back out of the previously inked deal. It has now been established that JioStar would complete all contractual commitments and will not be pulling out of the four-year agreement. The joint statement further affirms that both parties are committed to creating a competition that everyone can be proud of and that T20 World Cup preparations are well underway.
The Economic Times reports that JioStar, which is owned by the Reliance Group, had told the ICC that it would be pulling out of the media rights agreement for the competitions.

According to the study, JioStar increased its reserves for anticipated losses on sports contracts in 2024–2025, from INR 12,319 crore to INR 25,760 crore.
The joint statement, however, confirms that JioStar will carry out its responsibilities as the broadcaster for the forthcoming ICC competitions, including the T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to take place from February 7 to March 8 next year. This puts an end to all the rumours that have been circulating. Recent media reports on the state of the ICC's media rights arrangement in India have been noted by JioStar and the International Cricket Council. Neither organization's stance is reflected in these reports.

JioStar is still the ICC's official media rights partner in India, and their current agreement is still in full effect. According to the joint statement, "Any suggestion that JioStar has withdrawn from the agreement is incorrect."
"JIoStar is entirely devoted to upholding the word and spirit of its contractual obligations. The statement said, "Both organisations are committed to providing fans throughout India with uninterrupted, top-notch coverage of forthcoming ICC events, including the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, one of the sport's most eagerly awaited international tournaments."
Preparations are underway.
Advertisers and industry partners will not be impacted, according to the ICC and JioStar, since both parties are taking the necessary action."Everything is going according to plan for these events, and viewers, marketers, and industry partners are unaffected. The statement said, "As long-term business partners, ICC and JioStar keep in regular contact on operational, commercial, and strategic issues centred on the role the partnership can play in growing the sport."
