In Sundargarh, Odisha, masked criminals steal thousands at gunpoint from a transport agency; an investigation into

Late on Wednesday night, a group of masked criminals stole several lakhs of rupees at gunpoint from a transport office in Barsuan, which is located inside the Lahuniapara police limits of the Sundargarh district of Odisha. Five or six armed men broke into the office, attacked the staff, and then fled with the money.
The proprietor of the transport office reportedly told the police that the thieves came in two vehicles. The masked men allegedly stole the money and beat assaulted the employees at gunpoint after breaking into the workplace. During the event, they also caused damage to office property. The miscreants mostly spoke Hindi, according to witnesses.

There were five workers on night duty.
About five workers were on night shift at the time of the event, and a couple more were on the property but not in the office. Only employees who were inside the building at the time of the robbery are said to have been targeted by the attackers.
Police Start Looking Into It
Soon after obtaining information, police arrived at the scene and began their investigation. Others were in the cars that the robbers arrived in, according to sources, and their names could be determined by looking at CCTV footage.
