On Monday, Modi arrived in Indonesia to begin his three-nation diplomatic visit. The Prime Minister's plane was escorted by military aircraft as it entered Indonesian airspace, and President Prabowo formally welcomed him at the airport with a traditional cultural dance performance.
At President Prabowo's personal invitation, Modi will make his fourth trip to Indonesia from July 6 to 8. This is the first bilateral visit between the two countries since they formally upgraded their diplomatic ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2018.
