Odisha CM Majhi: A massive steel mill and an IT hub for Keonjhar are planned, with an investment of over Rs 1.2 lakh crore.

During a visit on Sunday, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi outlined his vision for Keonjhar and launched a number of development initiatives.
According to sources, the chief minister was given a heartfelt, customary greeting in his hometown, where he participated in a number of public events, including as a marathon, a speech, and the opening of a football championship game.
CM Majhi emphasized in his speech to the populace that Keonjhar will see revolutionary industrial growth thanks to significant investments and a planned big steel factory.
The Rs 1.20 lakh crore project pipeline is flagged by CM.
Majhi reassured the residents that Keonjhar's long-awaited industrial revival is in progress during his speech.

"Keonjhar will shine like gold, and Odisha will be prosperous." Keonjhar residents have long prayed for This future, he added, the region's economic character will be altered by a large-scale steel mill and a planned IT development project.
According to him, the district is moving forward with bids totaling more than Rs 1.20 lakh crore.
"Investments for the construction of a massive steel plant are proceeding. There are also plans to establish IT parks here, Majhi said.
Greetings from Hometown According to Raikala Reports, the chief minister arrived at Anandpur B N High School early in the day and proceeded down the main route before taking part in a marathon event. Later, he went to his hometown of Raikala after attending a wedding ceremony at the Municipality Kalyan Mandap.

Thousands of people had gathered to witness the Chief Minister in Raikala, where he was greeted with traditional tribal dance and song as drums, dhols, and other traditional instruments reverberated around the stadium. Previous sources state that JSW Group and POSCO are forming a joint venture for the Keonjhar mega-steel project, which will have an initial capacity of 5 MTPA (million tonnes per annum).
An estimated Rs 40,000 crore would be invested in the project, which intends to make use of Keonjhar's substantial iron ore reserves. With the possibility of future growth, it may manufacture hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and galvanized steel. The project is anticipated to improve the district's value-added mineral resources and create significant job possibilities.
