Police arrest a YouTuber in Lakhipur for pirating Zubeen Garg’s last film film Roi Roi Binale, investigation underway

According to authorities on Thursday, a guy has been detained in relation to the alleged piracy of Roi Roi Binale, Zubeen Garg's most recent movie, which was released on October 31. Rafiqul Islam was detained in Lakhipur, Goalpara district, on suspicion of posting videos to his YouTube channel, Rafiqul R Vlogs.
The producer of the movie filed a complaint.
After appearing before the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, he was placed into police detention for three days. In accordance with pertinent provisions of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, as well as pertinent sections of the Information Technology Act of 2000, the Copyright Act of 1957, and the Cinematograph Act of 1952, a case was filed at the Cyber Police Station in Panbazar.

Within a few days following the movie's October 31 release, Shyamantak Gautam, the producer, filed a complaint with the Cyber Police Station in Panbazar, claiming that unauthorized individuals were uploading the movie.
Within 12 days of its release, Zubeen Garg's most recent film earned ₹16 crore, making it the highest-grossing movie in Assamese cinema history.

The renowned Assamese musician Zubeen Garg, best known for his Bollywood hit Ya Ali, sadly died in Singapore on September 19. Despite receiving CPR and being taken to Singapore General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, he drowned while swimming close to a festival location.

The state government announced a three-day mourning period in his honor, thousands of fans attended his farewell tour in Assam, and his unexpected death triggered widespread public sadness.
Following the incident, scrutiny increased. Amid accusations of carelessness and criminal conspiracy, the Assam Police and CID have filed numerous FIRs and initiated a comprehensive investigation that includes a second autopsy and the detention of the singer's manager and event organizers. The music and voice of Zubeen Garg were not limited by geography. He became an emotional touchstone for followers all over India and sang in several languages.
