George Kurian, the Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, resigned from the council of ministers following the conclusion of his Rajya Sabha tenure.In the most recent Rajya Sabha elections, the BJP chose not to renominate him.Rashtrapati Bhavan announced on Tuesday that President Droupadi Murmu had accepted his resignation.
