Saanya, a squadron leader, is the first female Cat-A flying instructor in the IAF

Squadron Leader Saanya became the first female officer to obtain the coveted Cat-A Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) certificate, according to the IAF on Monday.
In a post on X, the Indian Air Force stated that it is an inspiration to prospective pilots across and is a proud milestone for the IAF.
Additionally, it posted pictures of IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal A P Singh congratulating the officer.Excellence soars. As the first female officer to obtain the coveted Cat-A Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) designation, Sqn Ldr Saanya has accomplished a historic milestone. Her accomplishment is a testament to commitment and the unwavering pursuit of excellence.
