Sonakshi Sinha talked candidly about her 2013 movie Lootera. She gave one of her best performances in the movie, which came out twelve years ago. Sonakshi discussed her thoughts on the Vikramaditya Motwane film Saas Bahu Aur Betiyaan with Amit Tyagi.
The actress asserted that the film has received praise from viewers and is timeless despite its mediocre box office performance. The movie is set in the romance and drama genres and achieves the ideal emotional balance.
Sonakshi Sinha's interpretation of Lootera
Sinha discussed the film's popularity and the aspects that made it timeless in an interview with the media portal.
"Us waqt box office per kaam nahi kiya vo alag baat hai," she continued. 12 saal hogaya, I believe, but aaj tak the type of affection Lootera has received, and even now, log jab mujhe pehli baar milte hai, pehli cheez bolte hai, "We love you in Lootera." Oh, I believe that movie is now timeless.
The actress continued by describing Motwane's film as her greatest accomplishment. Later, using Dabangg as an example, the actress asserted that in 50 years, people will remember the film for its impact rather than its box office receipts.
In the meantime, Pakhi, the daughter of a wealthy nobleman, falls in love with an unidentified man named Varun Shrivastav in the story of Lootera. But when the former finds out that Varun is leading a risky double life, their relationship is put in jeopardy. The Last Leaf, a short story by O. Henry from 1907, served as inspiration.
In an earlier interview with IANS, Sinha disclosed that she was told not to star in the film. She did, however, say that she is happy that she remained with her choice.
