The Balianta mob lynching case is being investigated by the Odisha State Commission for Women

An investigation into the horrific mob lynching event that was reported from Balianta on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar was started by the Odisha State Commission for Women on Friday.
To investigate the event, a special team from the Commission, headed by Chairperson Shovana Mohanty, went to the location. After examining the scene of the violence, the team went to the victim's home to get her statement.
After the investigation, Mohanty declared that everyone found guilty would face severe consequences. "Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has made it clear that no accused person will be spared," she said.She went on to say that the Commission would conduct a thorough investigation based on facts, proof, and evidence.

"A special team from the Odisha State Commission for Women visited the location as instructed by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi. We'll carry out more research and provide a thorough report. In this sense, the police administration is also providing assistance. "The government has zero tolerance towards such incidents," stated Shovana Mohanty, head of the Odisha State Commission for Women. "We will visit the residences of both the victim and the deceased to enquire further into the matter." Anyone found guilty will be dealt with harshly. The police administration has been advised to take the appropriate action, and the government has acted immediately. Additionally, the Odisha State Commission for Women has been instructed to carry out an investigation and provide a thorough report.
