The Supreme Court introduces the chatbot "Su Sahayak"

In order to make it easier for litigants to access justice and court-related services, Chief Justice of India Surya Kant announced the launch of "Su Sahay," an AI-powered support chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court website.
• According to the CJI, the National Informatics Center (NIC) worked with the Supreme Court Registry to build the chatbot.
• This will give citizens an easy-to-use interface to request front-end instructions and assistance in obtaining crucial Supreme Court services.
How does it operate?
• "Su Sahayak" appears on the Supreme Court's website as a compressed, revolving icon in the lower right corner of the screen. The chatbot extends to a wider conversation window when you click the symbol.
• Su Sahayak offers support through five main modules that can be accessed using the choice buttons.

They are:

i) Status of the Case

ii) List of Causes

iv) Judgements and Orders

iv) Online Services

v) Common Questions.
What is the Supreme Court's "One Case, One Data" initiative?
• On May 11, CJI Surya Kant declared the start of the "One Case One Data" initiative.
• It is a significant digital project that aims to improve public access to court services nationwide and strengthen the integration of judicial data.
• It will create a single system that incorporates multi-level data from all district courts, taluka courts, and High Courts.
• By building a more extensive and connected digital database throughout the nation's courts, the program is anticipated to simplify case management.
