Todays Council of Ministers meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Modi. Whats Scheduled

Today at the Sewa Teerth in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over an important Council of Ministers meeting that will bring together important cabinet members to discuss governance and policy implementation. Amid rumours of a cabinet reform, this will be the Council of Ministers' first meeting of the year.
All cabinet ministers, state ministers with independent charge, and other state ministers will attend the meeting, which is set for 4:30 PM. Four to five hours is probably how long it will last.
The cabinet reorganisation is probably going to be at the top of the meeting's agenda.
Priorities and course corrections for the upcoming months will be covered, along with how different ministries operate, the major decisions they have made, and the results of those decisions.Prior to this, the Cabinet Secretariat received information from all ministries about the reform initiatives implemented during the previous two years.
Additionally, a list of successful initiatives carried out over the previous 12 years has been requested from all ministries.
During the discussion, PM Modi is also likely to discuss the continuing Middle East crises and the Iran War, as well as how they affect India's economy, especially trade and energy prices. In order to reduce the annoyance to the public, he might also provide guidance to the ministries and departments.

According to news agency PTI, PM Modi is also expected to talk on industries like energy, agriculture, fertilisers, aviation, shipping, and logistics. It further stated that the government's focus on implementing changes in all areas for the benefit of the general public is probably going to be discussed during the meeting.
The reform targets for the next ten years were previously outlined by PM Modi, who claimed that the ruling government's "Reform Express" brought about structural change and greatly benefited common people.
The last meeting of the Council of Ministers took place on June 4, 2025.
On June 9, the PM Modi administration would have been in power for 12 years. According to insiders, a report on the government's performance over time would also be given.

Today's key meeting also comes shortly after the BJP's massive success in the recently held Assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam, and the formation of an NDA government in Puducherry again.
