Veteran performer Kamini Kaushal was laid to rest in Mumbai, and her devoted dogs gave her a heartfelt and silent farewell.

On Saturday, a small group of close relatives attended the funeral ceremonies for veteran actress Kamini Kaushal. As loved ones said their final goodbyes, the atmosphere inside the Worli crematorium remained gloomy.

On Saturday morning, her older son Vidhur led the customary Hindu ceremonies and carried out the last rites. Before that, Kamini Kaushal's lifeless remains were transported from her Mumbai home to the crematorium.
Members of the deceased actress's family brought her devoted companions along for the farewell, which was another moving moment.

Celebrities including Anupam Kher, Kiara Advani, Shahid Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan paid tribute to the seasoned actress on social media. They also recalled collaborating with her on movies like Kabir Singh and Laal Singh Chaddha.

One of the top actresses in Indian cinema during the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, Kamini Kaushal costarred alongside luminaries like Raaj Kumar and Dharmendra as well as superstars like Ashok Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, and Dilip Kumar.With her debut movie, the actress left a lasting impression on the industry. The only Indian film to win the Palme d'Or is her debut, Neecha Nagar (1946), which took home the coveted Grand Prix du Festival International du Film at the first Cannes Film Festival.
Uma Anand and Rafiq Anwar played the main parts in this Chetan Anand-directed film.Over the course of her remarkable career spanning more than seven decades in the film industry, the actress reportedly starred in over 70 films.
Her most recent appearance was in the 2022 film "Laal Singh Chaddha," starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. (ANI)
