A guy of Indian descent is sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing a woman in Australia.

According to local media, a man of Indian descent was given a 25-year prison sentence for killing a 24-year-old lady on a beach in Queensland, Australia, in 2018.
According to an ABC News report on Tuesday, the Supreme Court in Cairns found 41-year-old former nurse Rajwinder Singh guilty of killing Toyah Cordingley on Monday. According to the report, Justice Lincoln Crowley described Singh's murder as a "opportunistic killing" with a "unknown" reason.
The Guardian said on Tuesday that Singh killed Cordingley on October 21, 2018, as she was taking her dog for a stroll at Wangetti Beach, which is north of Cairns.
Cordingley volunteered at an animal rescue in addition to working at a health food and pharmacy in Port Douglas.

Crowley was quoted by ABC News as saying, "You left without even saying a proper goodbye to your wife, your parents, and your children, demonstrating that your only concern was to save your own skin, regardless of the consequences for your family."
It stated that seven years after killing Cordingley, Singh was sentenced to 25 years without the possibility of release.

According to the story, he was extradited from India two years ago after Queensland police offered a reward of AUD one million for his information.
