Ahmed al Ahmed, the shooting "hero" of Bondi Beach, could lose an arm: "Lost a lot of blood"

Following treatment for bullet wounds, Ahmed al Ahmed, the man who took a gun from one of the attackers during the Bondi Beach incident, has been recuperating in the hospital. Sam Issa, Ahmed's immigration attorney, provided an update on his condition and expressed concern that Ahmed would lose an arm.
Ahmed is ill and has trouble getting better, according to Issa. The Age cited him as stating, "Our hero is struggling at the moment."
Issa said, "A lot worse than expected" for Ahmed, who is still recuperating from his initial round of surgery.
According to Issa, Ahmed was hit by five gunshots in his left arm and one bullet in his back that hasn't been extracted yet."He is even worse than anticipated. Issa told the news outlet, "You don't think of serious injuries when you think of a bullet in the arm, but he has lost a lot of blood."
In the midst of the terrorist attack, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese informed state broadcaster ABC News that Ahmed's acts were a "example of the best of humanity."
According to reports, Ahmed owns a fruit store. He was a bystander who fled to the gunman and grabbed his firearm after hiding behind parked automobiles.
Ahmed has also started a GoFundMe campaign, which has raised almost $200,000 in just a few hours.
