In a shocking incident from Bengaluru, a man allegedly poured toilet cleaner acid on his wife following an argument over loud music being played on his mobile phone. The horrifying attack took place in the couple’s rented home in the city’s eastern region and has left the woman with severe burn injuries on her face, neck, and arms.
According to police reports, the couple had a heated altercation late at night after the woman objected to her husband listening to loud music on his phone while she was trying to rest. The argument quickly escalated, and in a fit of rage, the man reportedly grabbed a bottle of toilet cleaner and splashed it on his wife.
Neighbours who heard her screams rushed to her aid and called the police and emergency services. The woman was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors have stated that she sustained serious chemical burns but is in stable condition.
