Brace yourselves, brave fans. Three of the biggest names in the business could soon be competing if the rumours are to be believed. Kartik Aaryan, Ranveer Singh, and Ranbir Kapoor are reportedly in talks to act in Anees Bazmee's next movie, which is tentatively titled Ram Aur Shyam.
Sources close to the project maintain that this will not be a remake, despite the title immediately conjuring up images of Dilip Kumar's 1967 masterpiece. Anees Sir has been experimenting with this idea for some time. A trade insider told Mid-Day that the goal is to reimagine the twin concept for a new generation rather than recreate the classic.
No Entry Mein Entry, the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Bazmee's 2005 cult comedy, had previously drawn all the attention.
Concerning the project
The report states that Ram Aur Shyam is in the advanced phases of development and is anticipated to open for business early in the upcoming year. According to the idea of the movie, there will be a double role, and Ranbir, Ranveer, and Kartik have become the leading candidates for the role.
Kartik is said to be a preference among the actors under discussion. But coordinating dates could end up being the most difficult part. Each of the three actors has a full schedule.
Kartik has Naagzilla, and Ranveer will start Don 3 in January. Ranbir will start preparing for Dhoom 4 after finishing Love & War. Shahid Kapoor is the second actor that Anees Sir is thinking about. The movie might begin in February or early March if the dates work out, the person continued.
Renowned for providing audiences with heart-pounding entertainment, Anees supports numerous hits, such as Welcome (2007), Singh Is Kinng (2008), No Entry (2005), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024). Anees appears prepared to combine nostalgia with new star power with Ram Aur Shyam.
