Chinese Taipei will play the Indian men in the quarterfinals of the Thomas Cup.

Following the elimination draw in Horsens on Thursday, the Indian men's team was selected to play Chinese Taipei in the quarterfinals of the BWF Thomas Cup Finals. However, they lost their last group match on Wednesday, 3-2, to China. After a close dance with calamity, Chinese Taipei managed to make it through the most difficult path imaginable to advance to the Thomas Cup quarterfinals.

Japan, the winners of Group B, will play France, who stunned pre-tournament favourites and 14-time champions Indonesia. In the meanwhile, Thailand will play host Denmark, which placed second in Group C.With 11 titles, China is the second most successful team after Indonesia. Japan then went on to win their first-ever title, defeating Malaysia in an enthralling final in New Delhi.
Then, in 2016, Denmark made history by being the first non-Asian nation to win the Thomas Cup, defeating Indonesia in the Kunshan final. China won the title in 2018 after defeating Japan 3-1 in the Bangkok final.
Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the 2020 edition was held in October 2021. In the final, Indonesia defeated China 3-0 to end a 19-year drought.India made history in Bangkok in 2022 when they defeated Indonesia 3-0 in the final to win their first major team championship. As a result, India became the third nation to win the Thomas Cup for the first time in eight years and only the sixth overall.
