Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar:The Revenge—a sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar—is on a record-breaking run, scoring back-to-back centuries over the weekend. On its first Sunday, Dhurandhar 2 grossed Rs 114.85 crore, bringing the total to Rs 411.12 crore in India. According to Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 691.32 crore worldwide.
Breaking out the numbers
According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 (Hindi) contributed Rs 107 crore to the domestic total on Sunday, with Kannada and Malayalam versions contributing Rs 0.01 crore and Rs 0.09 crore, respectively.
The Tamil and Telugu versions earned Rs 2.50 crore and Rs 5.25 crore, respectively, adding to its impressive total.
Making the most of the extended weekend, Dhurandhar 2 opened with Rs 102.55 crore on March 19.On March 19, the picture was assigned 21,633 performances in India, while Sunday's bookings indicated a tiny decrease to exactly 21,202 shows.
According to recent Hindi blockbuster statistics, Dhurandhar 2 is far ahead of the competition.
Ranbir Kapoor's Animal (2023), directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, earned Rs 63 crore, while Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan (2023) earned Rs 65 crore on its first day.
