Following an SOS message, the Pakistan Navy assists an Indian ship that is stranded in the Arabian Sea

According to reports, the Pakistani navy responded to a distress call from an Indian ship that was stuck in the Arabian Sea due to a serious technical issue, providing food, medical attention, and other emergency help to the crew. According to a Pakistani military statement cited by news agency Reuters, the ship, known as the MV Gautam, was trapped at sea after suffering a serious technical malfunction while travelling from Oman to India.
After the Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center in Mumbai contacted Islamabad officials and asked for help, the Pakistan Navy began a rescue and support effort for the crew, which consisted of six Indians and one Indonesian.
The Pakistan Navy sent out the ship PMSS Kashmir to conduct rescue efforts in response to the request. The crew of the MV Gautam received emergency assistance, including food, medical care, and technical support, to stabilise the ship and guarantee the crew's safety, according to the statement.
The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) reportedly provided assistance to the navy throughout the rescue and support operation.
The footage of the rescue operation, which shows the Pakistan Navy's boat assisting the crew of the MV Gautam, was tweeted by the Gulf Times.Following a distress call, Pakistan claimed last month that its navy had saved and evacuated eighteen crew members from a merchant ship in the northern Arabian Sea.
"After receiving a distress call from the merchant vessel (MV) Gold Autumn, operating in the North Arabian Sea at 200 nautical miles (approximately 370 km) off Pakistan's coast, the Pakistan Navy successfully rescued and evacuated 18 crew members, including citizens of China, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Indonesia," the Pakistani military said in a statement at the time.
