IdeaForge Technology Ltd., a drone tech business, revealed on Tuesday that it has signed a first agreement to create next-generation Di1-powered AI drones with Digital Media Professionals Inc. (DMP), a Japanese AI-tech company.
According to the company, the partnership will also help it enter the Japanese market.
The two main focuses of the partnership are: DMP will be the Go To Market (GTM) partner for ideaForge's drone solutions portfolio in Japan, facilitating demonstrations, customer outreach, distribution, training, and after-sales support; and ideaForge will supply the Di1 integration to its unmanned aerial vehicle platforms to enable new features.

Japan's drone industry is projected to increase from USD 2 billion in 2025 to USD 5.1 billion by 2034, while the global drone market is predicted to reach USD 127.6 billion by 2030 from USD 54.9 billion in 2024.
In order to achieve reliable autonomous flight in harsh settings and challenging terrain, the DMP's Di1 AI technology collaborates with ideaForge's strong, secure, autonomous, and resilient field-proven VTOL drones.
