In Bolangir, Odisha, two trucks hit head-on, killing the driver and choking the route.

One driver was killed in an early Monday morning collision between two trucks on National Highway-26 at GhuchepaliChhak, which is under the Deogaon police limits in the Bolangir district. The tragedy also caused hours of traffic jams.
According to sources, the collision, which happened near Titilagarh, had such a strong impact that both cars were severely damaged, obstructing the entire section of the national highway and leaving hundreds of cars stranded on both sides.
A Great Deal of Gridlock According to After Impact reports, the accident on NH-26 occurred at around daybreak when one of the vehicles, which was allegedly transporting industrial products, swerved out of its lane and struck a truck approaching from the other way head-on.

Because of the tangled debris and the highway's limited width, the rescue effort took a long time. In an effort to reduce traffic, police officers concurrently tried to reroute cars along neighbouring rural roads.
According to the most recent reports, authorities are investigating the crash to find out exactly what caused it. The deceased driver's body has been transported to the Titilagarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for a post-mortem.
