In Cuttack, Odisha, criminals steal Rs 10 lakh from a scooter dickey.

Miscreants allegedly broke open the dickey of a scooter parked in front of a house in Itua Korakara village, under Napanga panchayat, in the Cuttack district of Odisha on Wednesday, stealing a total of Rs 10 lakh. Regarding the event, the victim, Rabindra Tripathy, filed a complaint at the Tangi police station.
In order to buy land, Tripathy reportedly took out Rs 10 lakh from the State Bank of India branch in Tangi. When he got home, he parked his scooter outside and proceeded to open the house's main gate.

He allegedly witnessed someone removing the cash bag after cracking open the dickey of the car when he emerged a little while later. Four people arrived on two motorcycles and carried out the looting, according to the complainant.
Police Use CCTV Footage to Start Their Investigation
Police have launched an inquiry in response to the complaint and are looking through neighbourhood CCTV footage in an effort to identify the accused. Investigators are also looking into a number of topics, such as how the criminals may have learnt about the cash withdrawal.

According to Tripathy, he had gone to the bank in the morning, but because the necessary amount was not available, officials requested him to come back in the afternoon.

I returned later and hurried home after getting the money. I heard a clicking sound as I parked my scooter and proceeded to unlock the main gate. I saw someone snatching my scooter's money bag at that point.
No suspects had been named at the time of reporting, and more investigation was under progress.
