India wins bronze after France defeats them 3-0 to go to their first-ever Thomas Cup final.

Christo Popov, Alex Lanier, and Toma Popov defeated Ayush Shetty, Kidambi Srikanth, and HS Prannoy in straight games as France put on an incredible performance that saw them crush India 3-0. Lakshya Sen missed the semifinal due to an injury he received during Friday's quarterfinal.

The games concluded
Ayush was defeated by C Popov 21-11, 21-9
Lanier defeated Srikanth 21-16, 21-18.
Prannoy was defeated by T Popov 21-19, 21-16

Because the Popov brothers, France's top doubles team, require a break between their singles matches before returning to the court, the standard sequence of singles, doubles, singles, doubles, and singles was not followed in this instance. As it happened, neither of the doubles teams had to play.

With the outstanding victory, France advances to their first-ever Thomas Cup final and shows the badminton world that their golden generation is legitimate. China, the reigning champions, will play them in the championship match.
Even though bronze isn't the colour they would have preferred to bring home, India's second-ever Thomas Cup medal is still a remarkable accomplishment for their own elite generation of men's badminton players.
