At the 2025 Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, India's Under-18 teams won gold and went undefeated, completing a dominant kabaddi double. In the final, the girls' team defeated Iran 75-21, the biggest margin of victory in a Youth Games kabaddi final since 2013. India finished the competition with 312 points scored and just 89 points given up in five games, headed by defender Riya Singh and raider Neha Patel, who each scored 28 points.
In a tight final, the boys' team defeated Iran 35–32, maintaining composure in the final seconds to win the championship. India's dominance in youth kabaddi in Asia was confirmed by the complete sweep at Isa Sports City in Riffa, which also increased the country's medal total at the Games.
