Marco Rubios Hormuz Charge Against Iran: "Economic Nuclear Weapon"

Iran has used the Strait of Hormuz as a "economic nuclear weapon" against the globe, according to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who ruled out any agreement that excludes Tehran's nuclear program.
"They're putting up billboards in Tehran bragging about how they can hold 25% of the world's energy hostage," Rubio said on Fox News. What if those same individuals were in possession of a nuclear weapon? He explained why provisions prohibiting Iran from "sprinting towards a nuclear weapon" must be included in any agreement with the country.

"We wouldn't be able to do anything about Hezballah, we wouldn't be able to do anything about Hamas, we wouldn't be able to do anything about the Shia militias in Iraq, Because they'd be sitting there with a nuclear weapon saying we are untouchable," he said.
Rubio accused Tehran of having connections to Hamas, Iraqi militias, and Hezbollah in Lebanon, claiming that Iran is not only a radical nation ruled by radicals but also a player looking to export their revolution. "They want to rule the entire region, not just Iran. He said, "And picture that with a nuclear weapon."He claimed that the "apocalyptic vision of the future" held by individuals in positions of ultimate authority in Iran is a barrier to an agreement. "You have a supreme leader whose credibility is still untested, whose access is questionable, who has not been seen visibly publicly, has not spoken, we have not heard his voice," Mojtaba Khamenei remarked.
When asked if Iran is sincere about reaching an agreement, Rubio cited the nation's internal strife as the reason for their desire to leave "the mess they're in". "I believe they are genuinely trying to figure out how to buy themselves more time.

They're quite skilled negotiators," he remarked. "I hope that in the aftermath of this conflict the whole world's eyes have been opened to the threat Iran poses," he added, adding that US President Donald Trump will determine the next course of action if a deal cannot be achieved. Once more, they want to use nuclear weapons to do to the globe what they currently do with oil. In order to do as they choose, they wish to hold the entire globe captive.Trump is allegedly unhappy with Iran's latest proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end the conflict at the time of his interview. Iran had previously offered the United States a compromise in which Washington would stop the Middle East conflict and relieve its embargo of the nation and its ports, with Tehran's nuclear program to be discussed at a later stage of the diplomatic process.
